Hey guys,
I could really use some prayer here. I have the hardest time in the world trying to get myself up in the mourning. Sleeping in, puts me behind schedule for the rest of the day. I have a really hard time fitting my quiet times, various chores, and school in the day when I do.
Please pray for me.

I SOOO understand and have the SAME problem!!! I LOVE sleep!! I love it too much though, and it is REALLY hard for me say no to my sinfull self, and get up to get moving... I will be praying for u..... I like to get up and go running in the morning... That's what helps me, the fresh air!! The birds!! And acutally MOVING physically... After I run, then, while I breathing heavily, I have my prayer time...

I would love to pray for you kenny! I have gone on and off with waking up. It probably is a struggle for most of us. warm, cozy beds.... But yes, it is laziness. It does dictate the rest of the day. I would love prayer here too.

ahh, yes, I think ALL teen struggle with this at SOME point..... I mean who ever REALLY wants to get up in the morning?? Especially when u have a certain room mate little sister hanging over your head saying "can u brush my hair?? It 7:30 already!! Time to get up!! etc."..... It's hard to be cheerful sometimes...

I'm still praying buddy. Sorry, I meant to let you know earlier.
I struggle with the same thing too, bud. However, I found that just sitting up in bed helps me break free from the chains of the comfy bed and get the rest of me out. Except the problem is that's the hardest part. It's almost as if it's painful or something. So a little "secret" (I guess you could call it) God showed me one day is this: While I'm lying on my side (or back) in bed, I ask the Lord to give me the strength and help me sit up. But if God is helping me, that doesn't mean he's actually going to physically lift me out of bed (although He could easily do that). I have to force myself to get up with God helping me. And once I sit up, I'm home free (or...bed free).
Could I make the suggestion that you try this? I think it might help you. I know it helps me for sure. If you try it, I'd love to know how it worked.
So...there's my two cents. ("You can, you can, take it or leave it.")

Well, i can definately say that waking up in the morning is pretty much a universal problem. lucky me (or not so lucky, depending on the way you look at it) i have a cute little puppy that wakes me up every morning at about 6. bad news is, she's not a morning puppy, she's a night owl (like me...). but i know what a struggle it is sometimes to get up in the morning. plus, i have alarm issues... i can set 3 or 4 different ones, and still sleep through it all... haha. but i'll be praying that we ALL wake up cheerfully in the morning and on time. btw, my new philosophy is get up early, get school done, take a nap jk jk.

Wow....I'm at a loss for words right now. That's some of the wisest advice I've heard in a long time. Kenny, I would recommend heeding Josh's advice. I'm sure it will change your life. However, changing for the good or bad, I'm not so sure.... lol jk Josh
